Every adult is background-checked. We pay for it.
Trusting someone with your child is a big deal, and we treat it that way. Before any coach, mentor, or educator works with a young person in our programs, they go through a professional background check, run on the same enterprise-grade screening platform used by major national companies. We cover the cost ourselves, every time, because safety should never be optional.

No one steps onto the court or into a classroom with your kids until their check clears. No exceptions.
On us, not on you
We pay for every background check out of our own pocket. It is part of the cost of doing this right.

We run our own screening system on professional, industry-standard tools, so vetting is consistent, documented, and fast.
We are not just running practices. We are putting great, trustworthy people in front of kids who deserve them, and we built the systems to make sure of it.
About the organization
Homeschool Athletics Company is a California nonprofit organization focused on youth athletics and educational enrichment. Our name reflects a simple belief: raising an athlete is a form of homeschooling, no matter where your kids go to class. The growth, character, and skill happen at home, and we are here to support that work.
We launch with basketball programming and remain open to serving all youth, integrating athletics with education at every step.
We partner with educators, subject-matter experts, charter schools, and educational organizations to make quality programming accessible to more families.
